Next you will need to add the steps:
Step 1
Complete the Intake Form To get started, please take a moment to complete our intake form. Once submitted, you will receive a warm welcome email containing further details on the steps ahead.
Step 2
Register and complete the virtual 8-hour HUD Certification training with our partner, The Chicago Urban League. The virtual Home Buying Education training is offered in two 4-hour evening classes from 6-10pm. You must register and attend both classes in their entirety to receive full credit for the 8-hour course. By clicking the links below, you will be directed to the registration page for each class.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion in your name, acknowledging your accomplishment. Please email a copy of your certificate to housing@hopecenterchicago.org with your full name and HUD certificate in the subject line.

Register and complete the free self-paced CreditSmart® Homebuyer U financial literacy course. This course will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the financial landscape and homebuying process confidently. The course contains 6 modules that explore the homebuying process, credit, money management and more.
