Youth Trauma Arts Camp

The Hope Center Foundation’s Youth Trauma Arts Camp’s goal is to break the generational cycle of violence and poverty in the Roseland, Pullman, and West Pullman areas by establishing programs that integrate art as a vehicle of healing. The focus for our youth is to develop intentional relationships that will increase emotional intelligence, bond over shared experiences, and build confidence to overcome challenges due to trauma. The therapeutic components of the camp allow our participants to express themselves creatively through drama, theater, spoken word, music, and creative writing. Knowing that others have experienced trauma helps our campers realize they are not alone, and strangers quickly become friends. The Hope Center Foundation is pleased to partner with mental health professionals, schools, hospitals, arts professionals, and trauma experts to provide a premier camp experience and begin the healing process for our participants.
